This Is What Suniel Shetty Told Ahan Shetty About His Role in Border 2_我的网站

A | The teaser of Border 2 was released today at a grand event in Mumbai. Among the cast members present at the venue were Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. For Ahan, the film not only marks his return to the theatres after a long gap, but he also has to carry forward his father Suniel Shetty's legacy, who was an important part of the film Border.
During the event, the actor spoke about the advice his father gave him regarding his role. Ahan said, "Just be honest with your role, be honest with the character, and just have fun. Go out there and enjoy yourself. Don't think too much about what people have to say, or don't compare it to Border 1. That was the most important."
He continued, "I'm grateful for this opportunity. First of all, working with Varun sir and Sunny sir, an absolute legend, who did Border with my father. So I'm also carrying that legacy forward. There is a certain type of pressure, but that pressure will always be there. But like they say, 'baap toh baap hota hai'. So if I can even be 10 per cent of what my father was in that film, I think I'll be able to do justice to the character."
Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty play soldiers in Border 2 who are trying to navigate through the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Directed by Anurag Singh and backed by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 brings together a strong cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Ahan Shetty.
Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T Series along with JP Dutta's production house, the film aims to honour the spirit of Indian soldiers and take audiences through a journey of patriotism, courage and sacrifice. With its release set for January 23 2026, just before the Republic Day weekend, the excitement around Border 2 continues to grow with every new reveal.

This photo released by Everland on July 23, 2026 shows a newborn giant panda cub in South Korea. Ai Bao, a female giant panda on loan from China, gave birth to a female cub on June 3. Photo: XinhuaAs the beloved giant panda cub born in South Korea to popular pair Ai Bao and Le Bao is nearing its 100th day, China and South Korea launched a public vote on Tuesday to name the newest addition to the panda family.
In June, Everland, South Korea's only zoo housing giant pandas, announced that female panda Ai Bao gave birth to a healthy female cub on June 3, according to The Korea Times. The newborn joins her older sisters, including Fu Bao, born in 2020.
The naming vote for the panda cub runs from Tuesday through August 30 and offers five name options, which were selected by both the Chinese and South Korean sides out of 10,281 initial submissions, according to an announcement released by the Chinese Embassy in South Korea on Tuesday.
The five name options carry distinct meanings: You Bao suggests a little one who is blessed and protected; Zhu Bao evokes a treasure cherished like fine jewelry; Jun Bao points to a striking and lovely baby; Lin Bao is likened to a precious piece of jade; and Shu Bao represents brightness like the break of dawn, according to the announcement.
As of 11 am, You Bao had received the highest number of votes on the Chinese Embassy's voting page, with Zhu Bao close behind. The embassy said the final result will be unveiled when the cub turns 100 days old.
South Korea's Everland also launched the vote on its X post on Tuesday, paired with bilingual Chinese Korean posters to introduce the five names.
South Korea's media outlet Yonhap News Agency said in a report on Tuesday that the five finalist names all follow the shared character "Bao," which is used by the panda family.
"We ask for your active participation and support in the online and offline voting so that the youngest panda, born under the warm attention of the public, can receive a precious name and grow up healthy," an Everland official was quoted by Yonhap as saying.
